Diary Bombshell: Kerry Met With Terrorists

In a bombshell development that could have turned President Bush's victory into a landslide had it come out before the election, John Kerry wrote in his Vietnam War diary that he met with "terrorists" in Paris - a revelation that "flabbergasted" his running mate, John Edwards.

All during the campaign, Kerry had adamantly refused to release his diary, claiming that he'd given exclusive rights to use the document to his biographer, Douglas Brinkely...

Just wanted to take a few seconds and remind any and all citizens that are leaving the country because they can't stomach the fact the George W. Bush was reelected (that's right - RE-ELECTED, not re-selected, not selected, but re-elected, as in he won twice!!!) that they have one important piece of business to accomplish on the way out of town: RENOUNCE YOUR CITIZENSHIP.

If folks want to leave the country, that's fine. Please feel free to find a suitable country of your choosing and go thro...

Link here: FT.com - Home UK - Canada deals blow to cheap US drug {ex}ports (original headline references drug IMports - as in import to U.S. from Canada

But growing concern in Canada that growing exports to the US could lead to rising prices and shortages north of the border has prompted the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (Cipa), whose members include several of the biggest internet and mail-order drugstores, to act. “We don't want to give Americans the impression that we have...

The discussion in d3adz0mbie's thread Why is President Bush 'throwing' this election? has me thinking again of something that many have missed about the question of what if we hadn't gone to war with Iraq.

The media love to frame the question (and some of the simple politicians do too) as: Would Iraq be better off with Saddam still in power and Would the world be better off if Saddam was still in power and left alone, but that's not necessarily the question that should be asked.

Saddam m...

(but very funny stuff, and well worth the viewing - please note I believe it uses Macromedia flash, and is -- as best I can tell -- a "safe" site. There are no pop-ups or other crap to worry about when you get there).

One last warning - please put down any and all food / drink items b...

(continuing the thought in the subject line.... Why would anyone vote for...) ... a Senator or Congress-person for President?

I ask this because after talking with my wife the other day, I realized that one of the things that really lessens many of the Senators and Congress-persons as candidates for President is that these same individuals will tout their plans for the future and tell us all that they have fixes for all that ill's the country, yet they are the same individuals that typical...

which pairs up (for anyone that still doesn't believe it) a nice FACSIMILE copy of the original John Kerry provided report.

So, keeping score:

Kerry was in Cambodia according to Kerry. Ooops, according to SBVT, nope. Clarified later - NOPE.

Kerry's version of events behind his rescue of Rasman (sp?). Correct to note that Kerry's boat was th...

So, today Kerry takes the gloves off and starts decrying the swiftboat vet's ads and tries to link them to Bush.

AP News (through MyWay) which goes on to say:

Sen. John Kerry accused President Bush on Thursday of relying on front groups to challenge his record of valor in Vietnam, asserting, "He wants them to do his dirty work."

Fighting back, Kerry said if Bush wants to "have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: 'Bring it on.'"

The Bush response:

In a rap...

The U.S. Olympic team -- specifically the Basketball team -- which is a prime example of the arrogance and laziness which we've bred into our spoiled rotten Athletes.

While the rest of the world has worked hard to bring their level of competition up, our star hoops team finds that no one wants to play and compete, and those that do play can't be bothered to play a TEAM game, instead they keep playing their me-first, I'm a spoiled star game.

The U.S. team deserves to lose and lose badly th...

Something that a local talk show host (Michael Graham, local to D.C., heard on AM radio), that bears some discussion, and in my mind, bears support:

The host's point, and an important one, is that we don't need just a bunch of idiots all signed up to vote just because they are of legal voting age and are residents of the country.

Before you go and say that it's everyone's right to vote (it is), you should understand that just because someone is entitled to...
