This topic has been around a bit in the past, with reports in the last year or two of upscale restaurants that were all competing amongst themselves to offer the most expensive burger. During that run of articles I think prices of $1000 were among those mentioned in the articles as being "the most expensive."

The inspiration for this current article is a fairly regular craving for burgers from a relatively small chain outlet in my area. A nice little burgers and shake place known as Cheebur...

Looking for suggestions on ways to repair laminate flooring that is losing the simulated wood surface...

The surface on the laminate in question is not very thick, and apparently not very durable. It's peeled up in a few spots in heavy traffic areas. I'm looking for ways to repair it that would most importantly protect the fiber/wood material that makes up the bulk of the floor. Just a few words here, following up a bit on my last article: Could you make this decision? Family history, genetic traits, and odds and discussing some family issues for a bit.

In my family, at least as I write this, both of my Grandmothers are still with us, but that is soon not to be the case. Both have lived well into their 80's. They have seen and lived through a lot of various history. Both have been tough in their own ways, though each has their own unique personality and way of lo...

As my sub-head notes, and probably should be further clarified, loving the mid-Atlantic area is easy. It's not just that time of the season, it's the fact that there are seasons at all.

If I happened to live in a place like say Texas, I'd have a choice between two seasons - Hot and Hotter (at least for most of the state that is true). I've worked in the Dallas area in the past, spending several months there, in the middle of the traditional summer time, and then into the fall. Yes, it was ...
